PrayerGlows ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, retain, share, and safeguard your information when you use our website and mobile applications at prayerglows.com.

Data We Collect

We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide our services:

• ✦Email address — Used to create and secure your account, identify your sign-in method, and send password recovery or other essential account messages.
• ✦Username — Displayed on your prayer bubble in the community canvas.
• ✦Prayer activity — Prayer points, daily check-ins, qualifying share events, referrals, and invitation activity used to show your prayer rhythm, determine your bubble size, and unlock personalization options.
• ✦Color preference — The color you select for your prayer bubble.
• ✦Prayer Circle data — Invite codes, circle relationships, join dates, and daily intercession records used to let friends join one another's circles and pray for each other.
• ✦Preferences — Your selected background, bubble display settings, and whether and when you enable a daily prayer reminder.
• ✦Sign-in information — If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address and a basic account identifier from that provider. We never see or store your Google or Apple password.
• ✦Uploaded background images — If you choose to upload your own photos as custom backgrounds (a PrayerGlow+ feature), we store those images so we can display them to you. They are visible only to you and are never used for any other purpose.
• ✦Purchase entitlement — PrayerGlows+ purchases are processed by Google Play or the App Store and validated by RevenueCat. We store limited entitlement information, including whether access is active, whether it is lifetime or subscription-based, its source, an expiration date when applicable, and the last verification time. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
• ✦Technical and security data — Limited request and error logs needed to operate the service, diagnose failures, and prevent abuse.

We do not collect your real name, phone number, or location. Photos are stored only if you choose to upload them as custom backgrounds.

How We Use Your Data

We use the information described above only to:

• ✦Create, authenticate, secure, and recover your account.
• ✦Display your prayer bubble and provide Prayer Points, daily check-ins, Prayer Circles, invitations, and intercessions.
• ✦Save your personalization and reminder preferences and display custom backgrounds you choose to upload.
• ✦Validate, restore, and provide PrayerGlows+ purchases and entitlements.
• ✦Respond to support requests, maintain service reliability, and prevent fraud or abuse.

We do not use uploaded photos, prayer activity, or account information for advertising or data brokerage.

Data Storage

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase, a secure cloud database provider. Supabase servers are located in the United States. Uploaded background images are kept in a private storage bucket and served only through short-lived, account-scoped links. All data in transit is encrypted via TLS, and passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms.

Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell or trade your personal data. We share only the information needed to operate PrayerGlows with Supabase (authentication, database, and private image storage), Google or Apple (when you choose their sign-in), RevenueCat (purchase and entitlement validation), Apple App Store or Google Play (payment processing), and Resend (essential account and password recovery email). We do not share personal data with advertisers or data brokers.

We require service providers that process personal data on our behalf to protect it in accordance with applicable law and provide protections consistent with this Privacy Policy. Those providers may retain limited information under their own published policies where required to process purchases, prevent fraud, or comply with law.

Your Rights & Data Deletion

You have full control over your data. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time through the "Delete Account" option in your profile settings, or — without the app — on our account deletion page. Upon deletion:

• ✦Your account, profile, points, check-ins, share records, and preferences are removed.
• ✦Your prayer bubble disappears from the community canvas.
• ✦Your Prayer Circle relationships, invite codes, and intercession records are removed.
• ✦Any background images you uploaded are permanently deleted from storage.
• ✦Our cached PrayerGlows+ entitlement record is removed. Store transaction records remain under Apple, Google, and RevenueCat retention policies.

Limited server security and access logs may be retained for up to 30 days before automatic deletion. Purchase records controlled by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat may be retained as required for transaction processing, fraud prevention, accounting, or legal compliance. Account deletion is irreversible.

You can also withdraw optional permissions without deleting your account: disable reminders in PrayerGlows or system settings, remove uploaded backgrounds in your profile, and manage photo access in device settings. You may contact us at any time to ask about or request deletion of your data.

Cookies & Local Storage

We use minimal browser storage or native on-device storage to ensure a smooth experience:

• ✦Session token — Stored in browser storage or app preferences to keep you logged in. It is removed from the device when you log out or delete your account.
• ✦Bubble display settings — Your preferences for bubble scale and visibility are stored locally and synced to your account.
• ✦Image cache — App-provided background images may be cached on your device to improve loading performance.

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies from third parties.

Children's Privacy

PrayerGlows is a family-friendly platform. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete such information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of PrayerGlows after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
